Every summer in Philadelphia, a young Mildred Lowe found simple joy beside her grandmother as they escaped the city's heat with a cup of Italian ice from the corner store. The neighborhood may have changed over the years, but the memory of those sweet, cool moments - surrounded by family, friends, and laughter - remained. When Mildred moved to South Florida, she carried that tradition in her heart, dreaming of sharing the same refreshing happiness with her new community. That dream sparked the creation of Sweetie's Italian Ice in 2015, built from scratch and driven by the love of bringing together people from all walks of life.
Since those early days, Sweetie's has served more than frozen treats. Each event is a celebration: a gathering place where vibrant flavors and lively service turn ordinary days into lasting memories. Drawing inspiration from her family and the countless ways food can unite a community, Mildred ensured that her business offers more than a dessert - it offers connection, joy, and inclusivity. Events are designed so that every guest feels welcomed, regardless of age or dietary need.
Through each school partnership and every festival, Sweetie's supports local youth and uplifts local programs. Jaeden leads the Youth Flavor Ambassadors, supporting event setup and serving guests with warmth. As Cool Crew Lead, Jaeden fosters an atmosphere where every customer feels included and every celebration is filled with energy and fun. Passionate about both community engagement and excellent service, Jaeden models the values that set Sweetie's apart in South Florida.
